Celebrating the Lake District National Park

Posted by Dominic Lee on

This week’s featured national park is the breathtaking Lake District in North West England 💫⛰

The second oldest of the UK's National Parks, designated in May 1951, the Lake District draws people from far and wide with its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The rugged fells and lakes that characterise this unique landscape have inspired many artists and poets over the years, including William Wordsworth, and continue to inspire the millions of people that normally visit this wonderful national park (and UNESCO World Heritage site) every year 💚

We love the Lakes and have fond memories of our stays here over the years. From lakeside camping, to scrambling along Striding Edge, swimming in Coniston Water, or simply strolling around Grasmere and taking a boat trip on Windermere, there is something for everyone to enjoy in the Lake District 🏞

We'd love to hear about your adventures in the Lakes, so send us your best pics and we'll send you some stickers for any we feature - with a Lake District pin for the week's top shot, which we'll post on Sunday 📸
